Happy Zappadan, Day 9 and Wow!
Some big news for our Canadian Scissorheads: Dweezil Zappa Plays Zappa concert is tomorrow night in Montreal.

A friend of mine saw this show when it came to Northampton, a stone’s throw from here, and said it was excellent, and not to be missed!
But miss it I did, and I’m bummed…
Ah well, there’s always some indeterminate “tomorrow…”
Stellar find 10G. I see Dweezil as the artist Frank wanted to be. On his terms, with a body of works, showcasing talent, playing whatever size room strikes his fancy and the time to create. That the whole Zappa family is so aware of and obedient to the spirit of his life and music is, to me, Frank’s finest legacy. It stands in stark contrast to the exploitation and crass disregard displayed by the generational miscreants of “mainstream” wealth and celebrity.
There’s certainly a lesson in there about DFHs and the demonized culture of the 60s that helps explain the clusterfuck times in which we live.
