This little NYTimes passage of the HuffPo merger with AOL jumped out at me:
By handing so much control over to Ms. Huffington and making her a public face of the company, AOL, which has been seen as apolitical, risks losing its nonpartisan image. Ms. Huffington said her politics would have no bearing on how she ran the new business.

Coming from the newspaper that had absolutely nothing but cheerleaders for Chimpy’s Excellent Adventure, that takes a lot of nerve to write.

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of reading one of AOHell’s political threads, you would see that their common taters are quite similar to the brainwashed dittobots that inhabit Politico.
