    Ha! I remember when Mapplethorp’s art was projected onto the Corcoran Museum in Washington, DC, after some Congresscritters got their panties in a bunch over an exhibit of his work! Good times, good times.

    Not Mapplethorpe, but I remember the Piss Christ controversy in ’87; those where the days when bodily excretions were art….
