    What’s truly sad and disheartening is that those who utter such nonsense (and by extension those who believe it) have no idea of the inanity and ignorance they espouse.

    What’s wrong with what he said? In America, there are;
    Americans,
    Chinese/Asian Americans,
    African Americans,
    Latino/Hispanic Americans,
    Native Americans, etc.
    He might have been about 0.00025% off with his numbers but he was talking about just Americans. Because thats what conservawackoes believe there is in America. Also, European and Scandinavian Americans are just plain American too cuz they’re (*whisper*) white.

    Brit’s right! Charlie Chan spoke really good English. And so did Fu Manchu and Mr. Moto! Clearly there is nothing insulting from a cultural standpoint here. according to Mr. Hume, America has taken the high road by not learning Chinese very well. Proof positive that higher learning and academia is hogwash!
