SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A federal appeals court on Tuesday declared California’s same-sex marriage ban to be unconstitutional, putting the bitterly contested, voter-approved law on track for likely consideration by the U.S. Supreme Court.

    So the case goes to the Supremes for the tender mercies of Roberts, Scalia and Thomas.

    Please let’s don’t forget that other worthless Bush appointee Sam Alito, he’ll be right there with the other three in lock step. I knew when the court made him president, usurping the voter’s rights to elect a president, that we were going to be done when he made appointments to the court which was for sure coming. I would have left the country then if I could have afforded a passport.
