Time to come to the aid of the blogger
As all good Scissorheads know, I have deep respect for writers. I admire people who write long-format essays, and above all else I admire writers who have a unique voice. One of the best writers on the web, Jurassic Pork, needs our help.
The misery that is the Great Recession has taken its toll on JP, and again he finds himself on the verge of becoming homeless and living in his car. Please note that as with many of us, this happened through no fault of his own.
If you are in the midwest and still working, and if you are so inclined, can you please check your companies’ internal sites and see if there are any job listings and get in touch with JP? He is ready, willing, and able to work. All he needs is a break to come his way.
I know we’ve done this before, and chances are good until the economic devastation ends that we will go it again, and if not for JP for another fine writer. If you can spare a few bucks, consider a donation to JP. It’s money will spent; his writing speaks for itself; he has a clarity of mind that few others have. Do it to spite Arianna, or as we say around The Hut: “Pay the writer.”

I like to think that if the roles were reversed that someone would lend me a hand, and frankly I could use all the good karma I can get.
Besides, JP is a helluva writer, I cannot stand thinking about so much talent going silent.
