“Think about the number of kids we could help, think of the number of seniors we could help in our state with $9 million that we didn’t have to waste on this — this frivolous recall election.”

–Scott Walker WI Governor (R) and wall-eyed git

(OK, I lied.)

Yeah, he means two specific seniors, Charles and David Koch.

  2. zombie rotten mcdonald:

meanwhile, the 25 billion coming to the State to help settle fraudulently foreclosed Wisconsinites?

Ol’ Turdwaffle is going to steal that to plug part of the budget hole he created, that the media seems to be unable to bring itself to mention.

    Man I hate that guy.

  3. John Hoffman:

Governor Turdwaffle? I like that, it sounds good. Unless we get everyone who signed the petitions to vote in the recall election, NOTHING changes. We have to contact each and every person who signed the petitions, and remind them to vote. That’s why everyone who gives a shit should get off their collective asses and get down to their local recall headquarters with their laptops to transcribe the petitions onto the party database. The time limit was for the recall to be declared to be happening, and we still have a load of data to be punched. Help us Obi Wan Kenobi.

  4. zombie rotten mcdonald:

Thanks, John, I’ve been using it for a year now.

Also, I fucked up the number in my comment; it’s 25.6 million, not billion. Still three times the amount that is going to the recall election.

What did he think was going to happen when they passed his travesty of a law and his draconian piece of shit budget? Did he think he would escape a recall election even after seeing 2 GOP shitheads successfully removed from office? Surely, he could have worked at repealing what the cause of all the uproar was. Surely, he could have had the state party not move forward with costly unsuccessful recalls of Democratic senators. Surely, he could have told the Koch Bros and ALEC to go fuck themselves. Ah yes, it’s just a frivolous exercise being forced upon them by the liberals. C’mon Wisconsin, punish this rotten, lying sonofabitch! The rest of the nation is with you.

“What did he think was going to happen when they passed his travesty of a law and his draconian piece of shit budget?” I’ve heard a theory on this from either Olbermann or O’Donnell. These people spend their waking hours listening to or appearing on Fox “News” and all their stupid ideas sound good to each other. Once those ideas are exposed to the public, not so much.

Some years back Junkie Limbaugh had a TV show with a live audience. He didn’t make it past the first commercial break. It’s one thing to have brain damaged listeners tell Rush how great he is. When real people got involved things changed in a hurry.

    John -

Forgive my lack of attention to the details of this (and of course you are right) — but when is the recall election in WI?

    Rgds,

    TG

  9. dk:

It’ll be frivolous when his ass bounces off the sidewalk, too.

  10. axel grease:

the election can happen as early as May 29. do you think if scotty loses he will go peacefully?

  11. Tengrain:

    Axel -

I think he will cry like a spoiled child, and he might spill the beans. But… if the Kochs have a spot for him to land, he may not care at all. I think the second act will determine the end of the first act, if you follow.

    Rgds,

    TG

Somehow these GOP creeps never seem able to connect paying parents a living wage to not having to “help” their children.*

    * (For the moment, we’ll pretend that as we speak Republicans aren’t actively pushing to shut down all the programs they can that actually help children.)
