NPR does not take advertising

Which is exactly why they have this video from the marketing department at Mickey-D’s showing you all the work that they to go to make pictures of their food look good for ads. You see, this is educational, it is not advertising.

(NPR, who of course does not accept advertising. No way. Not even from MacDonald’s.)

Well, the problem is that they’re paying all their store employees ‘food stylist’ wages, and can’t afford to spend the time to make the burgers with such meticulous care that they do in the studio!

    Right?

well, of course we can thank the incessant public tv budget cuts for requiring corporate largesse to keep any even pretend-public-good entity in operation. Of course, tax credits supporting Ann Rmoney’s dancing horse are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT.

I am thinking junk food machines in public schools, not to mention that fake news provider that is loaded up with slanted coverage and advertising.
