Best wishes

I have just learned that Michelle Malkkkin has been evacuated from her bunker in fire-ravaged Colorado. We here at MPS wish her best of luck and hope she finds a safe rock to crawl under soon.

(As we say back home, I wish for her what she has wished for me.)

    It’s amusing how fluid, inconsistent, and hypocritical the R line of argument is.

    They love to quote St. Ron saying “Government doesn’t solve problems, it is the problem. ”

    Except when a R pundit’s house is threatened by wildfire, then the government
    is dragging its feet on upping the numbers of air tankers to fight fires, as Malkin does
    this week on NRO.

    Never mind the more nuanced debate about wether such tankers are really needed or are cost effective,
    nor any discussion of the presumed R approach to firefighting; Private entities that will hold prayer rallies
    for rain and pay an undocumented worker to make a valiant last stand at your home with your garden
    hose, if your premiums are paid up.

    People who know me in real life can attest: I don’t swear, but I made an exception for her: I called her the C-word once, and it came out of my mouth naturally.

    Malkkkin should be handed a fire-fighting-and-evacuation voucher and then given a swift kick in the ass.
