In his new book Dearie: The remarkable life of Julia Child, author Bob Spitz writes …
“Although Julia adored her husband, Paul, she liked to surround herself with Jon Hamm look alikes (sic). At dinner parties, she made sure the two most attractive men in the room were seated on each side of her. Even into her 80′s, Julia often spent Saturday nights going out to find young men”.
The more I read, the more I love the women.
And remember, always save the liver.
Flemmish – I agree. I said at the time that I wish that they had edited out all the awful Julie scenes and just expanded the Julia ones. It should have been a very compelling bio.
