As predicted…

Wingnuttia is rounding up the firing squad…and declaring that the problem is that The Stench was not conservative enough:

“The battle to take over the Republican Party begins today and the failed Republican leadership should resign… Tea Partiers will take over the Republican party in the next four years.”

–Richard Viguerie, chairman of ConservativeHQ.com.

“It should have been a landslide if Romney had run as a true conservative.”

–Brent Bozell, Media Research Center

“[Willard is a] weak, moderate candidate hand-picked by the country club elite Republican establishment.”

–Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots

  2. Bruce388:

Oh, yeah, Willard wasn’t conservative enough. Bring it on, Bitchez.

  3. PIssed in NYC:

the rats are marching one by one, hurrah – hurrah …
the rats are marching two by two, hurrah – hurrah

the rats are marching ten by ten, hurrah – hurrah

May they march to the Pacific and the Atlantic and the Gulf
    and plunge right in..

Air seems a little fresher up here in Canada
with the Stench in the south wafting – wailing – away from Washington

There was a Republican strategist on NZ radio this morning who had the theory that the GOP had to enable the Hispanics and teh Ghey and black folks to join up. As I told the radio, no, you just have to be less batshit crazy. Obviously this has not occurred to them yet. Good, I was worried about snark material for the next 4 years.

What the hell is this idiot talking about, the teabaggers already controlthe republican’ts.
I know this is all apart of their never-ending war on reality, but we still need to say out loud that their brand of conservatism has been REJECTED repeatedly all across the country. It’s not a matter of not being conservative enough, it’s a matter of catering to far right stupidity and expecting the rest of the country to fall in behind obviously stupid beliefs, such as appearing to be pro-rape.

  7. Capt. Bat Guano:

Hell yes, give the GOP to the Teatards to finish off, personally I wouldn’t let one of them babysit a pet rock but that’s just perfect for this situation.

  8. zombie rotten mcdonald:

Yeah, the TP’ers will nominate a Limbaugh/Nugent ticket in four years. THAT’s gonna go SO MUCH better.

  9. zombie rotten mcdonald:

Of course, I hate Bastard FOREVAH for stealing half of my joke.

  10. Ralph Wiggam:

On the other hand, a quote from Lindsay Graham

“If I hear anybody say it was because Romney wasn’t conservative enough I’m going to go nuts,” said Graham. “We’re not losing 95 percent of African-Americans and two-thirds of Hispanics and voters under 30 because we’re not being hard-ass enough.”

  11. Dimitrios:

And so, with flags flying and drums rolling, the Tea Patriot-led Republican Party refuses to grow up. Morphing into the Children’s Crusade, it marches ass-backward into Never-Never Land and unspeakable battles with the dread Jabberwocky.

A bit of a mixed metaphor I’ll grant you, but this Tea-Tard GOP has way too much stupid in its mix for any single piece of fiction to encompass.

  12. PWL:

Well, now that they fucked up as badly as they did, it’s nice to watch them eating each other alive(baked Karl Rove should be tasty–like pork). Pass the popcorn, please…

  13. TheCunningRunt:

Ralph W, I never thought Lindsay Graham would give me wood, but if that isn’t a pistol in my pants…
