Shorter Bill Bennett

“The Democrats told the truth about the GOP, and people listened.”

Bill Bennett, as you might recall, was the pontificating poltroon of the Reagan-Bush era, who scolded and moralized us to death as the Secretary of Education and later as the Drug Czar (“Just Say No”), and then was caught gambling himself into poverty, along with several other interesting addictions.

    Republicans have re branded every progressive idea that’s been proposed in the last thirty years as socialism, so — not being lizard-brained troglodytes — most young people have embraced socialism.
