Wait, what? did I shut my blog down in a drunken rampage again?
In Pennsylvania, on November 19, 1863, Edward Everett spoke to over then thousand people for two hours, and no one recalls a word that he said. Alternately, Abraham Lincoln spoke the words of his Gettysburg Address in only a few minutes. While I am no fan of Twitter, perhaps a device which pares down presidential pronouncements should be considered a good thing, although restricting them to 140 characters might be viewed as a bit extreme.
