(Petunia and Pals) Right-to-Work laws are a “Gigantic Win for America”
- Today Michigan Governor Rick Snyder tells us that the Right-to-Work legislation just passed in his state is not anti-Union, it is pro-worker:
“I don’t believe this is actually anti-union,” he said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “If you look at it, I believe this is pro-worker.”
That is as disingenuous as when disgraced and deposed former HP CEO Carly “Fire ‘em all” Fiorina once famously said while laying off 18,000 workers that she was not downsizing HP, she was “right-sizing” it. (TPM)
- Senator Lindsey Graham (R-Closetcase) is now softening his stance against marriage equality. Previously, Huckleberry Closetcase had endorsed having a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage, but now he cannot decide between Rhett and Ashley. Oh, and he says it is like the Civil War. Yeah, he said that. (Think Progress)
- Willard Wins! Yes, it is true, The Stench has finally won something: His ad in the waning days of the 2012 Goat Rodeo that declared Jeep was moving to China was voted the Lie of the Year. (PolitiFact)

“…softening his stance…”
I see what you’ve done there!
So if Right-to-Work is really about giving each worker a “choice” of whether to join a union or not, why isn’t a law passed that gives every worker in the nation the same choice? If one worker at one Walmart store wants to be in a union, then Walmart should have no say in the matter. That would be true freedom of choice when it comes to unions.
