How’s that outreach to Latinos working for ya, GOP?

“We need a common sense solution to fix the flawed interpretation of the Constitution’s citizenship clause, and ‘The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2013′ does just that. The current practice of extending U.S. citizenship to hundreds of thousands of ‘anchor babies’ must end because it creates a magnet for illegal immigration into our country. Now is the time to ensure that the laws in this country do not encourage law breaking.”

–Rep. Steve King (R – Whites Only)

Oddly, Michelle Malkkkin remains muted on this issue.

  1. Pissed in NYC:

I thought that asshole Mallkin was all for hurting the immigrants until, that is, that someone found out she was an anchor baby. Typical, pull up the ladder right after you have used it. They all suck.

  2. DRoseDARs:

Hmm, I wonder if this can be applied retroactively? I think I’d like to see Sen. McCain deported. He wasn’t even BORN on US soil: Panamanian by birth, US citizen by act of Congress (settling the born-of-US-parents issue).

  3. Big Bad Bald Bastard:

‘The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2013′

Man, they really are experts at Orwellian Newspeak.

  4. RWW:

Birthright, huh? Go sell that on the Native Reservations, you asshole.
