DON'T CAVE IN as soon as one THREATENS to filibuster. Make them stand there and DO IT. Then, while they're standing there reading the telephone book on C-SPAN YOU go on the network news stations and draw attention to their shenanigans. Do it EVERYtime. Let them know that their threats of filibuster won't work anymore: that they'll HAVE TO ACTUALLY DO IT. Every. Time. MAKE the Republicans FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEIR FILIBUSTER.
