So why did McCain not support Hagel?
So, Grandpa Walnuts after saying he would support Chuck Hagel instead supported the filibuster? Why?
“But to be honest with you, Neil, it goes back to there’s a lot of ill will towards Senator Hagel because when he was a Republican, he attacked President Bush mercilessly and say he was the worst President since Herbert Hoover and said the surge was the worst blunder since the Vietnam War, which was nonsense. “
…because he was mean to Chimpy and Walnut’s had his fee-fees hurt when Hagel was mean about his f***ing precious Surge. The End.

Because Senator Crankypants wanted another chance to have a tantrum, and couldn’t remember the South Carolina primary?

Hagel spoke bad about a Republican. It doesn’t matter that George W(orst President Ever) Bush was the Worst President in American History. It doesn’t matter that Hagel is correct about Iraq and the Surge. What matters is you never, ever undercut a grifter while he’s grifting and that’s what Hagel did.
Gramps’ relation to reality grows more tenuous, although I admire his capacity to forgive Chimpy for that SC primary Thunder mentioned.
That’s not forgiveness, Bruce, that’s a geriatric cognitive disorder.
A geriatric cognitive disorder or Reaganitis. OK, same thing.
On McCain’s list of people he like to knife in an alley, you’d think that Bush would come right below the guys who tortured him in North Vietnam.
