We are so much different than “dumb animals.”
What some people consider to be dumb animals I consider to be of a somewhat higher intelligence than the human.
“Dumb animals” want nothing more than is offered by nature and live in harmony with nature.
Human beings want everything and trash their environment to the extent that even we will not be able to inhabit the earth in the near future.
“Dumb animals” use only what is necessary to survive.
Humans will use everything in excess.
“Dumb animals” kill only to survive and they hunt only the weak, injured and the helpless.
Humans want to kill the animal that represents the epitome of excellence in the animal kingdom. The human wants to kill the biggest, strongest animal that they can find. The only thing this does is reduce the gene pool for that species thereby ensuring the weakening and the eventual demise of that species.
If animals had an apposing thumb, then maybe I could consider hunting a sport.
