Keep on walking away, Blam-Blam

blam-blam rides again

From Politico:

Cheney was asked if he thinks the Bush administration bears any responsibility for the disintegration of Afghanistan because of the attention and resources that were diverted to Iraq. “I basically don’t,” he replied without elaborating.

OK, I’m not a journalist, I don’t even play one on the TeeVee machine, yet, I think I would have asked a follow-up question or two. What is it with Wingnuttia News, do they just take all answers (from fellow Wingnuts) at face value and then move on? Even such untrained blow-hards as Tweety and the absolutely ghastly, and untalented (and dead) Timmeh Russert would probably follow up such an emboldened evasion. Well, maybe not Russert.

  1. Randal Graves:

“Hey, if that third world child didn’t want to end up in my stomach, he shouldn’t have been so tasty,” said the former vice president as he pulled a piece of intestine from between his mechanical teeth.

  2. Pissed in NYC:

“I basically don’t?” He probably said that because he knew he couldn’t say what he was thinking. Namely, “who gives a fuck?”
