Yes, the GOP is foot-stamping mad that Al Franken so successfully painted them into a corner as being pro-rape.
I don’t know what his motivation was for taking us on, but I would hope that we won’t see a lot of Daily Kos-inspired amendments in the future coming from him.I think hopefully he’ll settle down and do kind of the serious work of legislating that’s important to Minnesota.

So, let me understand…according to these Repubs, Franken is supposed to say that Repubs who voted against this amendment are really on the side of women, even in the face of voting against their rights. Wanting it both ways & always entitled to being the best…gotta chuckle at those Repubs!
I, on the other hand, hope the Daily-Kos gets to work right away on the matter!
