Politico tells us:
“ACORN has dissolved as a national structure of state organizations,” said a senior official close to the group, who declined to be identified by name because of the fierce conservative attacks on the group that began when a conservative filmmaker caught some staffers of its tax advisory arms on tape appearing to offer advice on incorporating a prostitution business.
Our Corporate Masters, with the help of their Republican leadership lackeys, and the cowardice of cringing Dem leadership serfs, have succeeded in destroying an organization dedicated to giving the poor and powerless some say in the political process…
Makes me wanna cry…with this kind of dynamic happening in all political processes these days I fear we are all well and truly FUCKED…but I’ll keep on fighting, and take to the streets when that happens.

Hopefully they’ll rebrand by changing their name and keep going. Sort of like Sprint did when they caught overcharging their customers and changed to Embark, or Blackwater to Xe.
