ANCHORAGE, Alaska– As the so-called “troopergate” continues to swirl around Palin, a severance payment made to Chuck Kopp during the upheaval came with a promise not to sue.
Chuck Kopp left his police chief job in Kenai to replace ousted Trooper Commissioner Walt Monegan.
The investigation is still underway to find out if Monegan was fired through an abuse of power.
Kopp resigned suddenly after a controversy of his own surfaced of a past sexual harassment allegation, and he was given a $10,000 severance payment.
Monegan (the first fired chief) received no severance pay.

He also believes gays can, and should be “converted.”

AND it is the LAW IN ALASKA. she passed off concerns about that activity as “petty” but I think the media should be at least as wigged out by this as they’d be if she’d been caught snorting coke–least if she was downing drugs she’d be taking risks but not with another person’s life.
